Aracan Eatabe is a four star hotel on the Corniche on the east bank, between Luxor Museum and Luxor Temple with the Nile in front of it. The museum is 350 metres along the water and the temple 650 metres the other way, both close enough to walk to after dark when the heat drops. Karnak is 2.6 km north and the train station 1.7 km inland, and the west bank crossing puts the Valley of the Kings and Medinet Habu within a morning. The airport is 7 km out.

Rooms run from 23 to 55 m2 in four types, the largest a suite for two facing the river, each with a balcony, air conditioning, a minibar, a kettle and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, and a private bathroom with a bathtub.
